Herman Stern

Wednesday, January 17, 7 p.m., Celebration Hall, FREE

First Lutheran is hosting an event showing a documentary produced by Video Arts Studios. This is the true story of Herman Stern, a man who rescued 125 people from persecution and possible death in the 1930s and 1940s in Nazi Germany.

Currently, there is very little written about Herman Stern’s rescue efforts. To remedy this, the project will focus on Herman Stern’s leadership skills and desire to help all in society along with his civic and economic contributions to North Dakota.

There will be a Q&A session to follow, with Art Phillips (General Manager at Video Arts Studios).
