Lent 2019

Lent 2019 Logo.png
This Lenten season, we invite you to be a piece of peace.
In the work of putting pieces together to make a way for peace, we gather up pieces of our own brokenness, stories, hopes, dreams, pain, and honesty.
Because piece by piece, there is peace.

Peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, peace in our world.

Lenten Fundraising: Lent is a great time to worship, but it is also a great time to give to something outside of ourselves. This year, we are excited to support the Center for Christian Education (CCE) in Martin, Slovakia. CCE has been a catalyst for the rebirth of Christianity, not only in Martin but throughout the region. First Lutheran has been a steady partner in this work. Ways to give: through a noisy offering, taken every Wednesday after worship; Lenten pies will be on sale after Wednesday worship; donations designated to go to CCE. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
