Pastor Laurie Neill
Laurie was born and raised in Montana and came to Moorhead to attend Concordia College, where she graduated with a communications, theatre and art degree. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul and was ordained and installed at First Lutheran in June, 2012. Before working in the church, Laurie worked as the art director at a printing company in downtown Fargo; owned her own graphic design business; and was the founder and editor-in-chief of The Village Family Magazine. Her first church job—and the one that lead her to seminary—was as the Director of Lay Ministries at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Moorhead, where she served for over 10 years. She is married to Doug and has four boys and feels blessed to be called by God to be at First Lutheran and to work with the amazing families in this community.
