Emily Olson

Executive Director - Nokomis Child Care

Emily Olson has a BA in elementary education, AAS in early childhood education, and a minor in special education. Working in the childhood field is her passion. She has 15 years of experience working with children in a school, as a teacher, and as a director. Those experiences deepened her motivation and knowledge for the importance of providing excellent early childhood education.

She was born and raised in Detroit Lakes, MN, and is familiar with the Fargo-Moorhead area. After being further away from family for the past five years, she relocated to Moorhead from Minneapolis. She enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, crafting, and playing with her dog Jax.
